Ultrapure water systems

USF’s ultrapure water systems process from 30 l/h of water up to several hundred cubic meters per hour through a combination of reverse osmosis and continuous electrodeionization (EDI/CEDI).
Continuous electrodeionization is a chemical-free water treatment process. Depending on the configuration and pretreatment, product conductivities of 0.055 µS/cm (= 18.2 MΩ.cm) can be achieved.

The systems are also available as combined units with built-in softening systems. Dosing systems, for example for sodium hydroxide dosing to increase the pH value during CO2 removal, or membrane degassing – also for CO2 removal – can optionally be used.

The control system is carried out by microprocessor or by PLC, remote maintenance is possible. Optionally, reverse osmosis systems with softening systems or for hardness-stabilized feed water can be used, or systems with concentrate stage USF-ConcRO, which increase the yield to up to 90 percent. An optionally available high-pressure pump with frequency converter ensures that the produced permeate quantity is always kept constant – otherwise it would be lower at low feed water temperature. We manufacture the high-pressure piping in stainless steel, the low-pressure piping in plastic (PVC, PP, PVDF) or stainless steel.
