The USF water softeners purify both small quantities and several hundred cubic meters of water per hour. Control is achieved by means of central control heads or – in the case of large systems – by PLC and individual valve control.
Small systems operate in alternating mode, meaning that one softener column is in operation while a second is in stand-by mode. Larger systems use parallel operation: both columns are in operation and are permanently flowed through, which is advantageous for critical microbiological applications.
The water softeners operate volume- or quality-controlled by means of online hardness measurement. We use plastic (PVC, PP, PVDF) or stainless steel as piping materials; the filter tanks are also optionally available in stainless steel.
